The role of a live-in care assistant is similar to other care assistants with one notable exception, you are not a visitor, but a key part of the household. You will use your excellent communication skills to build unique relationships with people from all walks of life; with different backgrounds and needs, lifestyles and personalities, cultures and behaviours.

The service gives customers the reassurance of 24-hour support in the comfort of their own homes. However, live in care assistants are not expected to be continuously on duty for 24 hours, you will have pre-arranged rest periods each day.
